Shaven

Here ya go Crystal! I found them! They are poor quality. This was in 2000, I think... And it was starting to grow out. But, yes, I once upon a time shaved my head and had bangs in the front. I loved it! So easy to take care of. And it looked good when I was skinnier!

If I Could Turn Back Time

I had soooooo much fun these last couple of days!!! Thursday morning did not start off so great! I get a phone call from Melissa first thing in the morning saying that Shelly is stuck in Dallas and her damn flight has been canceled. She told me not to cry yet.... that they were still working on it. So, I got up and went to get my nails done. Melissa called and told me that Shelly would be flying into Baton Rouge, so her and Simon would be coming to my house earlier so that we could pick them up together. And, Mel got to meet my dad! We picked up the girlies and went back to my place to get ready. Melissa gave Sydney her gifts, including her cute new Mary Jane's!!!

Photobucket

So once we were all ready, we headed out to Marksville. And to get to Marksville Louisiana, you have to drive down LA 1 for a loooooonnnnggg time. It was quite scary. Cracksville central. The kind of place that you do not want to break down in!!!! The concert was amazing. But, everyone was sitting down!!!! I am to paranoid about people staring at me and it was KILLING Melissa to have to sit through the concert. It was just weird. Poor Syd couldn't handle it. It was to loud for her and was hurting her ears. None of us even thought about bringing her some ear plugs! But she still enjoyed it and has already scrapbooked her ticket!!!

Then the next day, we hung out at my house being lazy. Shelly had homework to do and I had grass to cut. We wanted to swap places... but just couldn't! We had to get our stuff done so that we could haul our asses back to NOLA. I was ready to meet JD!

Fast forward to the fun! So we get to NOLA all beautified and gorgeous. First stop was Lafites. We had to bring Frankie his picture with James that we have been trying to bring to him since Mardi Gras! And, YAY, he was finally there! He was all excited to get his picture! He is just so adorable!!!!

Then to the pub to find JD. Saw him sitting at the bar upstairs.... snuck up behind him and gave him a little tickle. Then came the squeals and the jumping and the hugging!! YAY! And let me tell you that weren't there, JD is more handsome in person! He just glows!

We had some drinks... then Shelly said we had to go dance to show the "unfortunates" how. Bad idea for me! This is when I turned into the sweat monster, and I was not drunk enough... so I cared. LOL. Here are some of our fagulous pictures!

Photobucket
Night would not be complete without these pictures....

And the best for last. Sweet fag hag love!
Photobucket
Sucks to be back at work today. I want to be out in NOLA still playing with all my friends. But I have Bianca Del Rio to look forward to in two weeks! And.... JD has informed me that he is moving back to NOLA in January! Hurry up and get here bitch! NOLA needs you!

Things to Come

Get ready bitches! I am totally stoked for next week. Is it March 27th yet? I can not wait for the fag hag extraordinaries to be all together again (minus one, Crystal wish you were here)!!!! NOLA watch out, here we come!!!!!

Photobucket

I even get to meet Mini Shelly!!!!
Photobucket
First on the list of things to do is to go see Heart! I have seen Heart two times. The first time I was 5 and my step mother at the time brought me. I can't really say that I remember much. But I know it was fabulous!!! People probably thought Sharon was crazy bringing a 5 year old to a rock concert.... but this was not my first. My first was Joan Jett! Anywho..... and the second time I went was with my mother a couple of years ago at Fiddler's Green in Colorado. Oh God, we had so much fun! I miss times like that with my mother.... OK not gonna get sappy here. I am thrilled that Syd is coming with us to the concert! So exciting for her! I am excited. It going to be a blast!!!
Love Ann and Nancy!!! <3

Photobucket
AND for the finale of my week off from work, I get to meet the gorgeous James (JD) and his hottie friends! We are gonna paint Bourbon Street with glitter, as he says. A fun drunken night hanging in the Fruit Loop in NOLA, there is no other way I would rather end my vacation! Get ready James!! You are about to meet the best damn fag hags you will ever meet!!!!

Finally a Bit of Good News From Colorado

I called my grandmother tonight to talk to her about the court date today. Today was the day of the court date for the kids regarding visitations. There is a bit of bad news as well. But it is something that we all knew would happen anyways. Let's just get the bad news out of the way. The kids father now has full custody. They are no longer wards of the state. I have very mixed feelings about this. I do not think that they are in a very good environment. I know that they love their father, and he loves them. But it just isn't a happy home life. But what this also means is that social services is done. The kids are no longer required to go to counseling. It is now in their father's hands to see they get the counseling they need. I don't see that happening and that really worries me. But, enough with that. Let's move onto the good news. My family was able to get a court order stating that my grandparents are allowed one weekend a month visitation and my mother is allowed one visitation a month. They are worried about my little brother. He seems to really be struggling with all of this the most. I think that he may be scared to go see mom. I just hope that he doesn't distance himself so much that it isn't fixable later down the road. But I am very happy for mom. Visitations will not be easy. The facility that mom is in is about a 3 hour drive. But my grandmother wants her to be able to see the kids, so I know that they will work everything out. I know that my little sister can't wait to see mom. I am happy that they both get this opportunity.

Strange

I witnessed a strange site today and thought that I would share. I live kinda in the woods, in the middle of no where. Well, on my way to work today I see this guy. He runs across the street that I am driving on. Then jumps in the air and does a flip to cross the ditch! I mean.... it is just strange. He was wearing baggy blue jeans and a dirty looking gray shirt. Not at all the type that you would think would be outside doing gymnastics. I wish I would have got it on camera. Cause it may not sound that strange with me writing it. But it was weird to see. It is just so out of place. And after he flipped over the ditch, he continued walking down the street as if nothing happened.

Spiderwick Chronicles

Photobucket

Those of you that know me well, know that I am a sucker for fantasy movies. I love anything with fairies, trolls, goblins! LOVE IT! My best friend Amanda and I went to see Spiderwick Chronicles this weeked. I LOVED IT! The movie was done by Nikelodeon and was perfect! I enjoyed every second of it. You don't have to be a kid to enjoy this movie. I can't wait for the next one! Freddie Highmore is such a good child actor. And, he plays two roles in this movie as twin brothers. I hope he keeps his shit together and goes on to make great movies for years and years!

A Million and One

After all the bruises he left
After all the blood he shed
After a million break ups
And a million and one make-ups
With empty promises and recycled lies
When will you realize
That a waste of time you idealize
Your own beauty you agreed to deny a long time ago
And now, in your strenghth you believe mo more
But you are nothing less than an empress
A goddess
A divine queen
And that sorry excuse for a man
Is nothing more then that

An excuse

So stand up for the beautiful woman you truly are
He is the darkness around you
And you-
Not him, my mother
Will shine as a heavenly star

I found this today and really liked it. I am not sure who wrote it.

Wednesday...time to go home. =(

Wednesday morning really sucked. More for some then others! Melissa and Liam got up early to bring Shelly to the airport. She had the earliest flight out of the group. But it was a good thing in a way. Because two trips were needed just to get everyone's stuff to Melissa's apartment! It was hard saying goodbye to Shelly. I love the whore so much! Seriously one of the best people I have ever met! Everyone in this group, really. So they brought Shelly to the airport. I went back to sleep and got up when they returned. We ate breakfast and waited for Annieka to get up and start packing. Ollie called me and told me that they were leaving and that they would stop by to say goodbye. We hung out in James' room for a bit and helped him pack. He gave Mel and I awesome New Kids on the Block stickers! LOL. Finally, everyone was ready to go. We packed up the car. James had been wanting to go to the 9th ward since he got there. So Melissa told him we would go if he promised to stay in the car with the windows up. Do you think that he listened to her? Hell no. We had a photoshoot in the 9th ward. Only James St James. LMAO!

He even found a souvenier!
Photobucket
Then we ate and went back to Melissa's house. We watched soap operas. (Still have not gotten those pics from Annieka!) But no trip to Melissa's would be complete without a visit to the ghetto mattress. If you don't know about the ghetto mattress, you better learn! James was so funny. He didn't know about the mattress. He was a little concerned as to what we were going to do with him on the "ghetto mattress".

FAT TUESDAY!

So of course, Tuesday was the BIG day. We all got up early to get ready and in our costumes!! I think that I had the easiest of all the costumes. But I adored it so much. It was the most hideous article of clothing I have ever bought, and I could not wait to wear it. Even if no one but us knew who Trudy Shinderman was! Meet Trudy and her aunt, Queen James.
Photobucket
Once we were all dressed, we headed out to Bourbon St for the Bourbon Street Awards. It is a huge costume contest that is held every year. I have been wanting to go for years, but this was the first year I actually made it out there! (Last year I was way to hung over. LOL).
Photobucket
Meet Les Krewe Des James St James. There was Geisha James (Ollie), Gym Sock Chic James (Liam), Trudy Shinderman (Me!), Bloody Bride James (Melissa), and James was the queen of us all!!! And of course, Miguel was there too, but not in a costume!
Photobucket
Also, not in that picture was the "Um.... Ew" James (Shelly). And yes folks that is THE dress!! From James' first America's Next Top Model apperance!
Photobucket
And of course there was also Crazy James (Troy) and the rough and tumble slice of pizza (Jason). I have no idea where these boys were during the awards! They were way to late and not in any of our pictures. Losers. LOL
Photobucket
Now onto the awards. I have a million pictures of all the costumes. But this one was my favorite. I guess cause I love candy so much! And it is very colorful!
Photobucket
And who could forget our intermisson entertainment! I already forgot his name. But he doesn't need one! LOOK AT HIM! Yum.
Photobucket
After the show we sat in Oz for a while. Danced a little, then went back to the hotel. We were all so hot and sweaty. It was fricken hot that day. But so much fun! James ended up leaving early. Shelly sat in Oz during the whole show. But Trudy was out there letting her freak flag fly!!!! Woooo whoooooo! The rest of the day was a lazy one. We went to the voodoo shop for a bit, some people went to eat. Some people went out.... and didn't come back until really late (the good catholic girl. LOL). It was all coming to an end.

Mardi Gras Insanity Day 4

We had to get up early on Monday to get ready for the voodoo tour with Bloody Mary! I was very excited about this tour! I knew it HAD to be better then the mortuary! So around 11 we headed down to the cemetary where the one and only Marie Laveau is located. And here we are....
Photobucket
The tour was really awesome. Bloody Mary, our tour guide, first brought us to Marie Laveau's tomb. She awoke her spirt.
Photobucket
And we left our offerings. We each had something to give. I can not remember what each person brought. I brought two rice necklaces. Each from my past relationships. One with Stave's name on it and one with Scott's name. I guess it was kind of my way to move on. Shelly brought a Red Hot Chili Pepper t-shirt of course. It was a very special shirt to her as well. From the first time she saw them, I do believe. Liam brought a rainbow feather boa. Melissa brought some braclets. James also brought a t-shirt that a cute boy had given him. I can not remember what Annieka, Ollie, and Miguel brought.
Photobucket
Then we went on a tour of the cemetary. I have lived in Louisiana for about 10 years now and learned so much from Bloody Mary about the tombs and how they are used. It really is amazing. It was very beautiful and peaceful in there.
Photobucket
After the tour of the cemetary we went to the church. They had a beautiful place for St Jude.
Photobucket
Then we went to the park to make our voodoo dolls. This is when I got the phone call from my grandma telling me about my mother's sentencing hearing. We were walking to the park, and I was walking in the back of everyone. My grandma told me that my mother recieved 18 years. Which is two years over the minimum. But I held it together. I really wanted to make my voodoo doll and I didn't want to ruin anyones fun. So.... back to the voodoo!!
Photobucket
Photobucket
Here is James' doll, I believe it was being called Peter Geisha! LOL
Photobucket
After the voodoo dolls, everyone was hungry. I decided to go back to the hotel so that I could call my aunt and have some alone time. I was a bit overwhelmed at this point. I think that everyone took a nap after lunch. But, there is no time for too much rest! We had to go out again! And so we made our way back to the Pub. Had to take a quick Vuh Jay Jay shot before we left though!
Photobucket
Once I had a couple of drinks in me, I was good to go! No time for pouting! How can you be sad in the company of all these awesome people!!!
Photobucket

Photobucket
Baaaaahahaha, oh my... this queen!!

It really was a good night!

Mardi Gras Insanity Day 3

Well, the beginning of day three was a little ruff. I don't think that we got to bed until 6 in the morning!! So with a couple of hours of sleep we slowly arose. I knew that Ollie and her hubby would be coming soon, so I tried to get motivated. Didn't really work so much. LOL. So, YAY!!! Ollie and Miguel arrived in New Orleans! Don't ask me what time. I have no idea. But when they got there, their hotel was not ready. So I dragged my ass out of bed and got dressed and Melissa and I went and picked them up from their hotel. When we got back we ordered food from the Nellie Deli. How can you not love a place with a name like that?!?!?! Liam, Annieka, and Miguel decided to go for a walk and see if they could find a parade. Of course, the rest of our lazy asses stayed in bed!!! Sunday is the day of rest, right?
Well the one major thing that we DID do on Sunday was a tour of a haunted mortuary. Let me tell you, I was super scared to do this. Ghosts freak me the FUCK out!!!!

Photobucket

I mean, look at the place! Fucking creepy!!!

Photobucket

We got there early, so of course pictures were taken. Shelly got some really fucking awesome black and white shots outside! They are fucking HOT! And soon she will have her own album on my myspace with her artsy shit!

Photobucket

But no fear. Auntie James made sure that I would not be too scared. Everytime I would gasp or say "Oh my god, I don't like that at all!" He was right there to hold my hand.

Photobucket

The lady that gave the tour was way over the top! And the whole thing seemed a little cheesey towards the end. There were other people with us running around talking all crazy. OMG, I feel this and OMG I feel that! Whatever!!! Read James' blog HERE. But once we got home. Melissa, Liam, and I were looking at the pictures and holy shit, we found fucking faces lurking in the back of the pictures!!! But I must say my favorite part of the tour was watching people walk around feeling for "cold" air.
Photobucket
After we left the mortuary we dropped all of our peeps off and Melissa, James, and I went to Mickey D's for some food. These are my favorite times with James. I can not tell you how much I love listening to him sing along to the radio. And if he doesn't know the words, he makes his own! We ate and then went to bed. Another big day planned the next day and we had to be up early!

Mardi Gras Insanity Day 2

Waking up the Saturday morning was not an easy thing for me to do!! Melissa and Shelly had to leave early to pick up the king cake, go back to Melissa's apartment to pick up the stuff we couldn't fit in the car, and to get James from the airport. Liam, Annieka, and I were going to walk to the cute shoe shop to get his manties. I am not sure what time we left, but we were all starving by the time we reached Decatur St. So we stopped to eat. Liam and I were soooo ill from the night before! I think that I may have spoken 10 words throughout the whole meal. Once we were finished, Liam just looked at me and said, "Let's just go back to the hotel and sleep." Sounded great to me, although we were about 3 blocks from the store we were going to go to!! Back to the hotel we went! We lounged around and watched TV until everyone else arrived. James said he was tired too. So, we all napped. But then we got up, got motivated, and started getting ready for the parade!!!!

Photobucket

Who is this hot ass tranny and where did she come from? Oh yeah, CORNTOWN!!!

Photobucket

Hot tranny and her pussy.

Photobucket

Then, off to the parade we went! Somehow crossing the street we lost Liam and Shelly. So Annieka, James, Melissa, and I went to the parade. James and Annieka were running around like loons singing "When the Saints Go Marching In".

Photobucket

James got bored of the parade after about 2 floats!!! So off to the fruit loop we headed! Of course we had to stop and ask people for beads! James was totally trying to pimp Annieka out and get her some big beads, but she insisted that she was "a good catholic girl"! He offered the guy a blow job, but being that we were in the straight "asshole" part of Bourbon St, he wasn't handing over the beads!

Photobucket

After being rejected by the straight asshole, we decided to stop and talk to the fag hating jesus freaks! They of course told us we were going to hell. Whatever!

Photobucket

By this time, of course, I had to use the little girls room! So off to Good Friends! The friendliest of gay bars!! (They have a decent womens restroom, and it has a DOOR!) On our way there we get a call from Troy saying that Shelly and Liam were with him! Amazing! Shelly spotted that beautiful bald head out of a crowd and knew it was him! So, we sat there for a while. Had some drinks. Then decided that we needed to bring James to meet Troy's friend Freddie, the cutest bartender on Bourbon!

Photobucket

Then shared some kisses of course!

Photobucket

Then to Oz we went!!! More insanity and drunkeness. Geez, I have no idea what this is!!!! Bahahahaha, but I do know that is my hand!

Photobucket

I think that it was shortly after this some of us decided to call it a night! We brought Auntie James to his hotel. Melissa and I went to eat at Clover Grill. Back to the hotel to call it a night.... kinda!
